hall.haus

Eyes on Talents member, hall.haus, reinterprets a classic of West African furniture, the palaver chair, in an exercise aimed at creating a link between their suburbs in France and their continent of origin. Inspired by this purely functional object, culturally used to meet in groups, exchange and transmit, hall.haus wishes to reproduce 10 palaver chairs with different machining and craft processes, a work started with Waly Seck, craftsman-designer of Dakar and Ludovic Mallegol French artist specialized in 3D printing.
hall.haus is an association of four designers founded in early 2020 by Abdoulaye Niang, Sammy Bernoussi, Teddy Sanches and Zakari Boukhari. They advocate a creative approach based on a journey between their environment (hall) and design (haus). Drawing on their multicultural heritage, they imagine the world of tomorrow by trying to act in favor of the ecological transition and to make design more accessible, especially to young people.
