Rukpong Raimaturapong

Eyes on Talents member, Rukpong Raimaturapong, is currently working on his "Light Life" collection, including pieces made in support of CHANEL, le19M and villa Noailles, in collaboration with Lesage, Lemarié and Goossens. The collection goes back to Rukpong's memories of Bangkok at night and draws inspiration from graphic design and kinetic art references alongside the complexity and fast pace of Bangkok in the dark. The concept also extends to how the garments are made by sourcing traditional Thai silk from various weavers and working with tailoring houses in different parts of the city.
Rukpong Raimaturapong was born in 1990 in Khon Kaen, a province located in the northeast of Thailand. Initially trained as a graphic designer, he has been exploring fashion since 2013. In 2021, he won the Prix le19M des Métiers d’art de CHANEL at the Festival de Hyères. Rukpong comes into fashion with an open approach, uniting different know-hows, exploring different techniques and connecting different cultural references.
