Julie Richoz

Eyes on Talents member, Julie Richoz, participates in step by step (question.s d’échelle.s), a new panorama of contemporary design taking the form of a stylistic exercise, presented by the Galerie kreo in Paris. Historical pieces and iconic ladders come into dialogue with new creations by the gallery’s designers. O’Step by Julie Richoz questions the classical construction of a ladder, leaving aside the logic of assembly and instead presenting a structure carved from a single panel of bamboo.
Julie Richoz (1990) is a Swiss-French designer. After graduating from ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne, she started working for Pierre Charpin as a project assistant. In 2012 she set up her design studio in Paris where she enjoys with curiosity and sensibility to develop her own language through objects.
