Guillaume Delvigne
Eyes on Talents member, Guillaume Delvigne, presented the LITHO collection, created for La Maison Pierre Frey, at the Salone del Mobile in June. Like a primitive landscape, large, massive and sculpted forms emerge with a polished and mineral appearance. Entirely upholstered in fabric, the furniture pays homage to the Maison's historical know-how. Each piece is the result of an assembly of volumes, either nested or simply placed one on top of the other, reinforcing their monolithic presence.
Graduated in 2002 from the École de design Nantes Atlantique and the Politecnico di Milano, the French designer started his career notably alongside George Sowden and Marc Newson. In 2011, he opened his own studio, had his first personal exhibition at the ToolsGalerie and received the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris.
