My work is driven by the process and exploration of creativity. I love the feeling of building something from scratch, thread by thread, where the possibilities of creation are endless. I approach my work as I would a painting or sculpture, dying and knitting the threads, combining and blending color
s and textures. Driven by material exploration, I enjoy to welcome accidental moments, the instant of loosing control over the outcome allows for a surprise element to arise and shift my work in directions I couldn’t have anticipated, usually turning out better than expected.
