Interview for Miranda by Sapo about my collaboration with Laboratoires Filorga
I'm botanical painter and illustrator, also using the traditional artistic techniques to create unique textiles, patterns and designs. I worked with Laboratories Filorga, Victoria&Albert Museum Shop and Karma House boutique hotel, to mention a few.
The history of plants is closely intertwined with social, economic and political factors. For over 170 million years, flowers have developed systems of communication and adaptation to changes of theirs environmental conditions. The structures created by flora can be found in architecture, music or en
gineering solutions.
Weronika Anna Rosa searches for the plants’ identity, language and anatomical algorithm by analysing species stories and observing their geometric nature. In her paintings, she tries to touch the essence of the aesthetic experience that man experiences and seeks in contact with nature.
