Orson Oxo Van Beek is a spatial designer who primarily specializes in contemporary furniture and spatial installations. In 2019 he graduated cum laude at the Design Academy in Eindhoven where he was part of the Man & Communication department. He currently lives and works in Antwerp, Belgium, where he
focusses on his practice. Within Orson’s work, he seeks to examine elder techniques or objects and tries to interpret these into a contemporary design. By using subjects that took place in the past and translating them with modern digital techniques he searches for a fine balance between classical and contemporary. Next to his practice, Orson works part-time at Studio Dennis vanderbroeck, a set design studio based in Rotterdam.
