Architect and designer India Mahdavi lives and works in Paris. After receiving diplomas in architecture (DPLG), industrial design, graphic design and furniture design, she opened a creative studio in 2000, a showroom in 2003 and a boutique in 2011. Thus the rue Las Cases in Paris is her own ecosystem where each place has its identity. Around the design studio that conceives a plethora of international projects (hotels, restaurants, private residences and scenographies) is articulated a showroom that presents her signature Made in France furniture with an organic, generous luxury (from the iconic Bishop stool to the Charlotte armchair) and a boutique that sells small objects which pay homage to skilled craftsmen from around the world. The multilingual, multicolored India Mahdavi celebrates lifestyle as a joyous, colorful recreation.
