Interview for Building Momentum, agency representing art directors
Studio Mathieu Meyer is a creative direction and design practice.
Established in 2014 in Paris, the studio focuses on editorial and digital content.
Through visual identities, films, typographic design or websites, it speaks with the art, fashion and music worlds.
After spending a couple of years in
London, where he gained valuable experience working with David James Associates (Prada, AnOther Mag…) and Bibliothèque (V&A, Covent Garden…), Mathieu Meyer joined the agency M/M (Paris) and stayed with them four years collaborating with the likes of Balenciaga, Björk, Cnap, Givenchy, Loewe and Man About Town.
Building strong relationships with brands, artists, image makers and curators alike, we value collaboration above all. Through an exchange that is driven by the concept itself, our signature work adapts to the project, whichever the medium. Each partnership is apprehended globally, as a whole creative environment.
Mathieu Meyer is a graduate from ECAL University of Art and Design in Lausanne.
He currently teaches at Ecole Duperré in Paris, in the Fashion and Creative Industries MA.
