Straw spirits is a project designed for the opening of Hermès Fukuoka Iwataya. It features monsters made of straw that take the form of daily objects: a teapot, a cup a bag and lamps, a reference to traditional yokai. In each scene, they come to interact with Hermès products. A dotted background unde
rlines flows coming from the straw spirits: water and light. Inside the objects, some dot-paintings represent landscapes where water and light takes place.
