Collection 2015/16 I was deeply inspired by the
exhibition of the Russian suprematist Kazimir
Malevich, Anthony Carlo’s installation work and
Richard Diebenkorn ‘Ocean Park Series’: the nonobjective
approach of order and chaos and the importance
of colour in Malevich’s compositions,
the light-colour-collage and the sensibility of
collaging and layering within a certain
geometrical frame. All these artistic approaches
represent a strong and engaging power itself: The
essence to shade colours through layering by
painting and overpainting or the interplay of shadow
and light.
