Objects in the mirror may appear closer than they are.
This project title comes from the tiny text placed on the car’s
rear-view mirrors, that warns us of trusting blindly the reflected
image.
The mirror reflects the distorted image, and perception through
its lens. The same lens I investigate in t
his project, and how the
physical object challenges perception.
Though the experiences of how the designer’s voice - through
garments – plays an important part in understanding the mirror’s
flaws. A mirror that separates the safe driver in the car,
and the cycler that challenges the rear-view through the physical
act.
