Graphic and Apparel Designer

Conceptualize and create impactful, fresh, progressive and exciting original apparel graphics, artwork + pattern designs to be used across all design depts. This includes women’s, men’s, accessories, and special projects. Drive seasonal and long-term design direction and strategy for apparel graphics. Report to head of creative services, to ensure brand look and feel, and storytelling narrative is on point. Collaborate with design teams to ensure holistic collection vision is on point. Collaborate cross functionally, to ensure consumer and brand focus is on point. Plan and work into designs based on application and execution techniques. Create detailed production files + artwork specifications, scale, application to vendors. Review strike-offs and ensure the highest production quality is met. Provide tread forecasting reports that are relevant to our brand and consumer.
College or university degree in graphic/communication design. 3 years relevant work experience in graphic/communication design +/or apparel graphics Excellent proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, knowledge of tools such as VectorWorks, Cinema 4D, etc. is a very strong plus Excellent typography skills Excellent ability to create original fresh 2D + 3D artworks Ability to artwork production ready repeat patterns. Hand-drawing and illustration capabilities a plus. Experience in understanding design and production process from start to end. Ability to operate in a fast pace, deadline driven environment. Ability to understand design concepts and think conceptually towards the greater brand vision and meet commercial objectives.
