In 2021, Paris Good Fashion & Eyes on Talents are proud to launch the second edition of their prize rewarding the vision of visual artists and photographers dedicated to sustainability and consumption. With the support of Pinterest and Ville de Paris, Paris Good Fashion & Eyes on Talents want to rally photographers and their creativity to raise awareness on society’s habits related to fashion consumption, a topic that concerns all of us.

Rewarding aesthetic quality and creative work, this initiative aims to make society more sensitive to environmental issues caused by the fashion industry, as part of Paris Good Fashion’s movement to make Paris the capital of a more sustainable and conscious fashion industry by the Olympic Games of 2024.

  • Projects must be artistically outstanding and present a narrative related to the theme of consumption, sustainable practices or lack thereof.
  • No preference is given to any particular kind of photographic material, technique or creative route, nor are any of these excluded from consideration.
  • Submissions should include a descriptive note of the project (5-10 lines).
  • The contest is open to all creators over 18-year-old, whether they are still students or professionals.
  • All entries must be the Photographer’s original work. Plagiarism is not tolerated.

THE WINNER(S) WILL RECEIVE

  • The winning series will be exhibited during the month of July on the railings of the Hôtel de Ville with the support of the Ville de Paris. The production of the exhibition will be supported by Paris Good Fashion and Eyes on Talents.
  • The winner(s) will receive a dedicated communication offered by Eyes on Talents, Paris Good Fashion and Pinterest.

THE JURY

The prestigious jury of the 2021 edition of the Paris good Fashion x Eyes on Talents GRAND PRIX PHOTOGRAPHY & SUSTAINABILITY 2021 will be composed of:

HOW TO APPLY

  • All Applications are free; no purchase is necessary to participate.
  • This is solely a talent competition. The prize will be awarded based on the quality of the projects.
  • All applying projects should be submitted through an Eyes on Talents profile - including a short description and uploaded images of the project - to be completed by May 25, 2021 at 23:59 GMT +1.
  • Please name the project #GPPS2021 to ensure the Jury know which one to assess in your portfolio section
  • Applicants must apply with 1 project. The project must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 15 images.

DEADLINE

  • All applying projects should be submitted through an Eyes on Talents profile - including a short description and uploaded images of the project - to be completed by May 25, 2021 at 23:59 GMT +1.
  • The Jury of notable Institutional and Media figures in Fashion and Photography, will chose the winner(s) between between May 26 and June 15, 2021.
  • The winning project(s) will be announced on June 25, 2021 (as part of Paris Fashion Week). Special Mentions may be awarded too.

We are the digital platform connecting influential & innovating brands to a worldwide community of management & creative talent. Eyes on Talents offers to all awarded photographers a dedicated communication towards Eyes on Talents community and brand members.


    PARIS GOOD FASHION

    Paris Good Fashion’s vocation is to co-construct with the actors of the fashion sector a road map to act concretely and gradually transform practices in order to offer more responsible fashion by the Olympic Games in 2024. With a steering committee and working groups, Paris Good Fashion organizes « tanks to actions » to define the road map, choose priorities for action, launch a major citizen consultation, organize conference cycles, mobilize young people and society on the subject of sustainable consumption by soliciting design and creativity.
